Returns and Exchanges
Here at historygear.com, we want you to share our passion for our designs. If you are not completely satisfied, please tell us and we’ll make every effort to fulfill your request.
Generally - new and unused merchandise in their original packaging may be returned for a full refund or for an exchange within 16 days of order arrival date. Returns after 16 days of order arrival date are eligible for store credit. Store credit is issued immediately after processing the return and will be added to your account or emailed directly to you (the price of store credits and refunds can vary depending on discounts and taxes applied to the original order). Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds of original shipping cost unless it is a shipping error or product defect.
We suggest sending your return package via certified/insured mail or UPS/Ground to obtain a record of your return. Please note that historygear.com is generally not responsible for the cost of shipping returns, exchanges, and/or any modified orders. (Please note this only applies to orders shipped within the continental United States. Currently we cannot accept returns from outside of the US).
We suggest allowing at least 5-8 days transit time before processing your return. Please don't hesitate to email us if you have any questions or need help at any time during this process.
TO MAKE A RETURN
- Email customer service with issue and order number
- Customer service will promptly provide you with the shipping information for your return.
- You will receive an email once your return has been processed. Please allow 5 business days from the time we receive your return for it to be processed.
PROCESSING YOUR RETURN
Once we've received your return (typically in 7 business days), please allow up to one additional week for us to issue the exchange or refund your credit card.
In the event of a refund, your refund will be processed when all garments have been determined to be in their original condition. All refunds will also be credited to the card used for the original purchase.
In the event of an exchange, we will do our best to find your desired replacement and send out ASAP. If a replacement t-shirt is not in stock, we will offer you the option of a different color version or a refund. Please allow one billing cycle for a refund to show up on your credit card statement. Any difference incurred in an exchange — whether a credit or debit - will be placed on the credit card used to pay for your original purchase.
If your exchange requires multiple shipments, the appropriate shipping and handling fees will be charged to the credit card used to pay for your original purchase.
* Please remember, items not post marked within the 15 day return period will not be processed for refund or exchange. If your return does not meet the above return criteria, we unfortunately will not be able to complete the refund and will return your order.
