A Tee inspired by the Ghost Dance, the religious movement created by Northern Paiute spiritual leader, Wovoka who received a vision during a solar eclipse in 1889. It was believed that the dance would reunite the living with spirits of the dead. It was incorporated into numerous American Indian beliefs and in 1890 it was Lakota participation in a Ghost Dance that resulted in the massacre at Wounded Knee.
