A visual homage to Sitting Bull (1831-1890), the Hunkpapa Lakota holy man who led his people as a tribal chief during years of resistance to US government policies. He was killed on December 15, 1890 on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation, when Indian agency police attempted to arrest him, fearing that he would join the Ghost Dance movement.
